I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 39 wonderful years. I grew up in Massachusetts before moving to Georgia to be closer to my grandkids. Spending time with my two grandsons, Elijah (16) and Evan (13), is one of my greatest joys. When I’m not with them, I love traveling, painting, reading, and attending their ball games.

I’ve been an HR Manager in the centers for 15 years, with 7 of those years at Genesis, and I’ve spent the last 2 years as a recruiter. I truly love my job and enjoy working for Genesis. My faith is the foundation of who I am, and it keeps me grounded every day.

My name is Heather, and I have been with Genesis for almost 19 years. I started my career with Genesis at a center in Annapolis, MD, where I was the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator for nearly 15 years. In 2021, I was promoted to the Market HR for Maryland and Delaware and oversaw the region. In 2024, I was able to pursue my passion for recruiting and joined the Talent Acquisitions team. For the last year, it has been a joy to welcome new employees to Genesis! When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. One of my favorite places to visit in Maryland is Historical Ellicott City!
